Throw a No Hassle Graduation Party: Part 7 – The Party Favors

Good Friday to you mama!

TGIF! I hope you had a wonderful week and have begun to look forward to the weekend! I know I am. This weekend, I am on a trip with my mother and my younger sister who just turned 21. We are away in Florida celebrating her birthday and visiting a very magical spot: Harry Potter World! Keep an eye out on our Facebook and Instagram accounts for some fun weekend photos from us! Before we get too ahead of ourselves though, I am excited to say that today’s post is the conclusion piece to our Graduation Party Planning Series! I can’t believe we are at the end of it!

If you haven’t had a chance to check out our other posts, be sure to click on the links below. Each post can be taken as a stand alone… or you can read them all to get some help and inspiration in planning your own graduate’s party! Here are the links:

5. DIY Candy Bar Thank You Labels

This is the last idea I have for you today. This is another take on a candy party favor, however this favor only requires you to purchase candy bars for your guests. You can find large quantities of candy bars at any large superstore or at bulk stores like Costco. Then, you just wrap each candy bar with a cute label that has a Thank You message printed on it. This design by A Girl and a Glue Gun is offered as a free printable. I think it is super cute!

Today, we are talking about party favors. Now graduation parties definitely do not require you to purchase or make party favors for your guests. However, if you want to add the cherry on top to your graduation party this summer, then I recommend giving your guests a little something they can take away with them. Below, I have provided a few fun and easy ideas for you. I hope you get inspired!

5 Fun & Unique Graduation Party Favors

1. “Here’s to a Bright Future” Candy Filled Light Bulbs

This idea presented by Evite is such a super cute one! Simply purchase bags of M&Ms or other like sized candy as well as these faux plastic light bulbs (found online or at a party store). To make things easy, Evite has even make the “Here’s to a Bright Future” tags available as a free download! Simply click on the photo to be taken to the original source to get your printables now!

2. School Colored Candy Thank You Bags

This idea presented by Catch My Party is a bit simpler than the previous idea. For this party favor, you should purchase candy in your party theme colors (or in our case, in your school colors). Feel free to get creative on what candies you are packaging up. Then place a handful in a small plastic bag and finish it off by tying it with a pretty ribbon and label.

3. One Smart Cookie Favor Tag

I think this idea by Caramel Potatoes is super cute for a graduation party including a cookie bar! You could purchase snack sized pouches of store bought cookies (i.e. Chips Ahoy) and tie them off with a ribbon and label OR you could small boxes or bags ready and labeled for your guests to fill with cookies already displayed on your dessert table. Either way, Caramel Potatoes is offering their “One Smart Cookie” labels as a free download! Be sure to hop over there and snag this cute printable for yourself!

4. Personalized Graduation Favor Candy Bag

This idea is a great alternative to having pre-packaged candy bag favors. Rather than having to do all the hard work of prepping your gifts, you could simply purchase some adorable personalized candy favor bags for your guests to fill as they like. This is especially perfect if you already have decided to make your dessert table a full blown candy bar. I think this design by Abbie and Dizzie Designs is very nice with a well crafted thank you message printed on the outside of the bag!
