Do your aprons come in any other sizes?
We offer a variety of sizes for both women’s and children’s aprons. Please see our Size Guide page for more information on our apron measurements. At this time, we do not offer to customize our apron sizes.
What fabrics do you use?
We use 100% cotton fabrics for all of our handmade fabric products. Our fabrics are not pre-washed and therefore will shrink slightly when put in a dryer. For that reason, we always recommend letting your aprons air dry. For more information on how to care for your apron, please see our apron care page
How do I care for my apron?
Since our aprons can be used for many reasons including cooking, you will need to know how to launder it! Please see our apron care page to learn how to properly care for your Kitsch ‘n Whimsy aprons!
How do I determine which size children’s apron would fit my child the best?
Our children’s aprons come in five different sizes and are sized based on the age of your child. For more information on our apron sizing, please see our size guide page.
Do you offer personalization on your aprons?
Yes! We offer embroidery as an add on to your apron or chef hat. Our listing for for embroidery can be found here. Please follow the instructions in the product description to learn exactly how to communicate the text you wish us to embroider on your item as well as the color of the thread.
Do you create custom designed aprons?
Don’t see the apron that you are looking for? We offer customization of fabric choices for our existing apron styles. If you don’t see the fabric combination you are looking for, please send us a message on our contact page to describe the color and/or fabric print that you want. We will do our best to create an apron for you in one of our current styles that matches the color/print you desire. We will apply an up-charge to your apron for the customization and will present you with a quote prior to purchase. We do NOT, however, customize our apron styles. All of our apron patterns are hand drawn and tweaked to perfection. It would simply take us too long to create a new customized pattern.
Ordering & Payment Questions
What payment types are accepted?
Kitsch ‘n Whimsy transactions are processed through PayPal. PayPal is a third party credit card processor that keeps all of your transaction information secure. All major credit cards are accepted as payment through PayPal. You do not need your own PayPal account to use the service.
Can you change my order before it has shipped?
Unfortunately, we cannot change your order before it ships. If you accidentally ordered the wrong size or color, we can cancel your order within 24 hours of your purchase and then you can purchase the correct items at that point. If you want to add to your order, you will need to place a new order. We will do our best to ship all of the items at the same time if possible.
How long does it take to get my order?
For small orders of less than five items, please allow 3-5 business days for us to create your order and get it shipped. If you have purchased a large order of five or more items, please allow 5-10 business days. We strive to ship our products out as quickly as possible!
What about during the holiday season?
During the holiday season, our creation time may be extended. In the month of December, please check our “purchase by” date to learn the last date we will accept orders for delivery by Christmas.
The item I want is out of stock, when will it be restocked?
Our aprons are never truly sold out until the fabric to create them is no longer available. When this happens, we search to find an alternative fabric and will list that apron as a replacement option. If the apron you want is currently listed as “out of stock”, please send us a message with the apron details and we will see if we still have the fabric to create it.
Do you have a brick-and-mortar store?
At this time, we do not have a brick-and-mortar storefront.
Where is my order?

Due to the handmade nature of our products, please allow 3-5 business days for your small order of less than five items to ship. Please allow 5-10 business days for your large order of five or more items to ship. We will do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number. Please be sure to check your email’s inbox and spam folder for this confirmation. The message will be sent to the email that you used when you ordered.
Can I request overnight shipping or upgraded shipping?
Yes. You can request upgraded shipping but please do so by messaging us through our contact page prior to purchasing. Shipping time will depend on the size of your order as well as your color/print choice. We will be able to confirm what upgraded shipping options we can offer you as well as a quote for shipping cost.
My order has shipped but hasn’t arrived?
Unfortunately, once your items have left our hands, we no longer have any control of its shipment. If your order has shipped but not arrived when it should have, please contact your local post office. You will need to provide them with your tracking information for them to help you further.
Where will my order ship from?
Your order will ship from Michigan!
Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?
No, we do not offer discounts for bulk orders. If you are looking to purchase aprons in bulk, we have apron and chef’s hat styles available in our women’s and children’s lines that are set at our rock bottom pricing. We do not offer any bulk or wholesale pricing at this time.
Do you wholesale your aprons?
Unfortunately, we do not offer wholesale pricing at this time.
Do you offer coupons or promotions?
Yes, we do! Throughout the year, we will release coupon codes or promotions that apply to orders or to specific items in our shop. In order to receive theses coupons or to be the first to know about our promotions, be sure to subscribe to our mailing list and follow us on our various social platforms (Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram).
Can I return or exchange my item?
Yes, because we ultimately want you to love your Kitsch ‘n Whimsy products, we do allow returns and exchanges. However, we do not offer returns or exchanges for customs orders. Please see our Returns & Exchanges page for further details.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do! Shipping costs will vary depending on where you live and the weight of your order. If you are ordering from outside of the U.S., you will be responsible for your country’s duties and sales tax payments. If you would like a quote on your shipping costs, please send us a message before placing your order.
